ENERGIA LIMPIA XXI. LA RIOJA ARGENTINA. This week Argentina once again makes new headlines in renewable investments. The massive Nonagasta solar plant is already generating clean and reliable energy for more than 23,000 homes.
The modern facility owned by the firm 360Energy has more than 130,000 photo-voltaic panels, with a production capacity of 35 megawatts, contributing to an estimated annual generation of 90,000 megawatts per hour.
The development of the Nonogasta Solar Photovoltaic Park is part of the decision of the Government to promote greater use of renewable energy sources with the aim of mitigating the effects of climate change while promoting the generation of employment all over the country. Energía Limpia XXI states that the plant will help to cut down fuel imports by an equivalent of 185,000 barrels of oil per year and it will prevent the emission of 50,000 tons of carbon dioxide into the environment. What you think about that?.
