Brazil Goes Green: PEPSICO Promotes Creative Solar Eco Friendly Transportation


ENERGIA LIMPIA XXI. Creativity and solar energy continue to grow in leading companies in Brazil. Recently PepsiCo, one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies, and Sunew, a world leader in the production of third-generation solar power technology, have teamed up to develop a pioneering solar power project for distribution trucks. Sunew initiated the installation of Photovoltaic Organic Films (OPV) in ten vehicles in PepsiCo’s distribution fleet, in a pilot project to improve the management of vehicle battery recharging and its lighting system.
