
Brazil : Airport with solar energy an extraordinary example of sustainable development

Recently, the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Marcelo Sampaio, pointed to the Salvador Bahía Airport as an example of environmental protection during his visit to this structure this Friday afternoon (9). “The Salvador Airport has been an example of sustainability for the country,” he said, after getting to know the Solar Plant closely. The Airport was designated by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) as the most sustainable in Brazil.
