Brazil Neoenergía with great succes: Baixo Iguazú hydroelectric plant recieves ISO certifications


ENERGIA LIMPIA XXI. Renewable energies continue to achieve new achievements in Brazil. The Baixo Iguazú Hydroelectric Plant, in Paraná, was certified in the field of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) in three ISO standards, which deal with Quality Management (9001: 2015), Environment (14001: 2015) and Safety and Occupational Health (45001: 2018). The project became operational in 2019 and, within a year, Neoenergia implemented the Integrated Management System and obtained the certifications. The six hydroelectric plants operated by the company – Baguari, Corumbá, Dardanelos, Itapebi and TelesPires – are already certified in the same O&M scope.
