
Nicaragua has formed the National Electric Mobility Table and is advancing in an eco-friendly revolution. This important advance is part of the country’s commitments to the Green Climate Fund and its initiative to promote electric mobility at the regional level
ENERGIA LIMPIA XXI. Green Climate Fund supports de advancement of electric mobility in countries like: Argentina, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay and Uruguay. This efforts help to identify and address the main barriers for electric mobility by providing the necessary assessments, capacities and financing alternatives to accelerate adoption of electric mobility technology. This will be done with a twofold approach: at a national and regional scale. Nationally, understanding that despite electric mobility is at an early stage in all participant countries, barriers and corresponding solutions may vary depending on each country’s context and priorities.
