Brazil with a great year in wind energy: Vestas secures a 113 MW order with 2W Energia and surpasses 6 GW in order intake of V150-4.2 MW wind turbines in Brazil

ENERGIA LIMPIA XXI.Brazil wind energy projects have had a great year. Vestas has signed an agreement with 2W Energia for the 113 MW Kairos project, located in the municipality of Icapuí in the state of Ceará, Brazil.

With this project, Vestas surpasses the milestone of 6 GW of order intake in Brazil for the V150-4.2 MW wind turbine, including the 4.5 MW variant, consolidating itself as the best-selling turbine model of all time in Brazil given its excellent fit to the local wind conditions and its unparalleled levelised cost of energy. Globally, the V150-4.2 MW turbine has surpassed 17.5 GW in order intake.
