New investments in solar energy

This week the Ambassador of South Korea in Managua, Seok Hwa Hong, announced that Eximbank of South Korea is funding a $ 25 million dollar project in Nicaragua to increase solar energy use and rural electrification. “Nicaragua is a very important country for South Korea and we want to support efforts of the government to promote greater use of solar energy. This project will begin later this year and we believe it will have a positive impact on quality of life for the Nicaraguan people”, the South Korean Ambassador said.
