Nicaragua recycling program

With support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), residents of the city of Bluefields are recycling and managing solid waste responsibly. The Comprehensive and Sustainable Management of Solid Waste project (GIRES), is working closely with a women cooperative providing equipment, uniforms, scales, compactors as well as technical assistance, education in finance and business  development plans.
