MANAGUA, Nicaragua–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nicaraguan-based non-profit Zamora Teran Foundation, which aims to provide underprivileged children in Central America with quality education and access to technology, today announced it will host a national conference focused on the use of technology in the classroom, in partnership with the Nicaraguan government. The success of the One Laptop per Child program, which has resulted in the donation of more than 30, 000 laptops to students in Nicaragua, will be highlighted at the conference.

The Minister of Education of Rwanda, the Hon. Silas Lwakabamba, will also attend the event as a special guest of the Zamora Teran Foundation and of the Government of Nicaragua.
