A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Nicaragua, Iceland Geothermal Power S.A., an Iceland-based geothermal energy consortium, and ENEL for the development of a Geothermal Resource Park in the areas of Masaya, Apoyo and Mombacho, Nicaragua.
