NICARAGUA Strengthening Anti-Ebola measures
The Nicaragua government has taken measures to strengthen controls at border checkpoints and the Managua International Airport, along with the training of health personnel for detection, handling of cases and use of certified sampling equipment to deal with the Ebola virus threat. Public health authorities are working in line with Pan American Health Organization protocols and in coordination with member states of the Central American Integration System (SICA).
