Solar energy keeps shining : Brazil promotes the More Light for the Amazon Program in the state of Pará


ENERGIA LIMPIA XXI. Brazil continues to make progress in promoting renewable energy and sustainable development, amid the challenges of Covid-19. The first Term of Commitment for the implementation of the Mais Luz Program for the Amazon was recently published in the Official Gazette (DOU).

The Term of Commitment was signed between the Ministry of Mines and Energy – MME and Ecuatorial Pará Distribuidora de Energia SA, with the participation of the National Electric Energy Agency – ANEEL, Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras SA – ELETROBRAS and the Energy Commercialization Chamber.
